The Global Citizenship Education (GCED) programs in Seogwipo City and Jeju City reached 1,512 students from 20 schools and institutions in 2023, achieving a high satisfaction rate of 4.92 out of 5. The initiative benefited elementary, middle, and high school students, and also targeted young adults from Jeju Island to cultivate their understanding on global issues. The specific topics covered include the UN SDG issues such as human rights, poverty, and environmental sustainability as well as multiculturalism.
